Nuts & Volts is based in Lindfield, West Sussex and run by Allen Foote.
Allen originally started out as a general builder in 1986 in Lindfield, West Sussex. Trading as “The Home Maintenance Company” and later “Oldoak Properties Ltd”, Allen gained a wealth of experience predominantly focussing on period property renovation and refurbishment.
After diversifying into IT and qualifying as a data-centre Server engineer, Allen transferred to a senior management position with a national IT company, supporting high street retail and restaurant chains as a service manager, where he honed his skills in delivering customer satisfaction through attention to detail and communication.
While working in IT Allen remained "hands-on", undertaking regular projects alongside his management roles , but such was the demand for his services that he left the IT industry to focus on his Property Maintenance business.
Combining all the skills attained during his career, Allen is dedicated to providing quality services and delivering them as efficiently as possible to the Nuts & Volts client base.
Allen is a qualified Electrician, City & Guilds certified for inspection and testing, part P building regulations and the latest 2019 amendment of the BS7671 18th edition requirements for electrical installations.
